FREMONT FOOTBALL 2009

 

Fremont Football prides itself in providing a total program our student/athletes.  Character education, academic emphasis, and physical development are top priorities in our program.  We have no limitations on the number of players in our program, therefore there are no cuts.   However, a player must obey all team rules and regulations, maintain academic eligibility and follow all UHSAA guidelines to remain a member of our team.

 

PRACTICE

All scheduled practices are mandatory.  Players are expected to be to practice on time and ready to go hard.  Unexcused practices will result in dismissal from the team.  Game preparation is crucial and if a player is ill please call the Coaches’ Office or email Coach Bosgieter prior to 11:00 am.  Please do not send a message with a friend.

Practice:  Daily 2:45 – 5:30

            Saturday Varsity Game Players  9:00 – 10:30.

Games:  Varsity 7:00

               Sophs/JV 3:30

***All players will ride the bus to and from games unless pre-approved by FHS Administration.

 

TRAINING RULES

  1. No Drugs!  Illegal Drugs, Steroids, Alcohol, Tobacco, Prescription Abuse, Please refer to District Drug Testing and UHSAA Policy for failure to comply.
  2. Stay properly hydrated.
  3. Plenty of sleep.
  4. Diet, eat as if you are totally focused on fueling your body for competition.

 

ELIGIBILITY

Football eligibility is determined from the 4th qtr. prior to the season, and by 1st qtr. for post season play.  For a complete description of eligibility standards refer to FHS Eligibility Standards.

 

UNIFORM CARE

Please follow uniform cleaning and drying instructions distributed at the Parent Meeting.  All players are responsible for equipment checked out to them.  Any lost or stole equipment will result in the player paying the replacement costs.

 

DISTRICT PARTICIPATION FEE

Participation Fee is to be paid to the bookkeeper before Sept.21, 2009 $85.00

Other expenses:  Helmet Reconditioning $15.00

            Sophomore and first year players practice jersey $20.00.
