A screenname is the name used to identify who you are when you are on the internet. It is usually public, which means other people can see it. For some internet accouts you use your username to login and then use your screenname to converse or communicate with other people.

- Chat Rooms
- Forums
- Posting Comments
- E-Mail Accounts
Think of other places on the internet where you might have a username.
