Definition of a Password

A password is a secret word or code that is used to make sure that you are who you say you are.

What Passwords Are For

Usually, when you create a username or screenname you also create a password that goes with that username or screenname. When you try to access the account for the username or screenname the account asks you for your password. The correct password must be entered or the account will not let you in.

What Does "Strong Password" Mean

A strong password is a password that cannot be easily guessed.

What Does "Secure Password" Mean

A secure password is one that only you, and because you are a student, your parents know.
